As part of our Change Starts Here platform, we are so excited to be working with inclusive children’s publisher, Knights Of.
Our prominence on the feet of school children around the country makes us a brand that is synonymous with the classroom.
We see Knights Of as the perfect partners to help us promote inclusivity, diversity and togetherness from a young age, by educating children at school or at home. Knights Of work to ensure that every child can recognise someone like them on the pages of the books they read.
The team at Knights Of are dedicated to the industry-wide support of inclusive children’s books.
‘Diverse’ books are often shelved as ‘niche’ while less than 4% of the publishing workforce in the UK is non-white. While increasing representation in children’s books, Knights Of also work with diverse writers, illustrators, agents and retailers.
Kickers have been iconic for so many years – they were (and still are) symbols of confidence when I was at school so to be working with them is a wonderful opportunity to share our passions of authentic representation with as many people as possible.
